5 Exotic Locations for Scuba Diving
There are thousands of scuba diving sites all over the world but some lend themselves perfectly to exotic and luxury travel. A look at 5 of our favourites below.
Egyptian Red Sea Coast
The Red Sae in Egypt is an exotic spot for scuba diving and there is plenty to see and do in the villages and towns along the Red Sea coast. Diving here can be memorable, with the rich marine life and finding a scuba diving company is relatively easy with many companies available.

Tenerife
The Canary Islands are a wonderful place for a scuba diving vacation and diving enthusiasts should try scuba diving in Tenerife. As this island is a volcano, the underwater rock formations in this area are very interesting and there is plenty of marine life to be seen from anemones and urchins to sharks, sting rays, barracuda and turtles.
Great Barrier Reef
A spectacular place to go scuba diving is the Great Barrier Reef. This unique coral formation is a sight well worth seeing, and the range of underwater fauna you can see here is considerable. Although pernaps more difficult and expensive to than some other resorts (unless you live in Australia) - it is still well worth the trip.
Sodwana Bay
Sodwana Bay on the East African coast is part of a World Heritage site called the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park. Here the temperature of the water is at least 20° C, and you can see dolphins, potato bass, humpback whales and sharks.
Birds Head Canyon
A good diving location for a novice is the Birds Head Canyon in Tel Aviv, Israel. The shallow reef, fascinating rock formations and wide variety of fish make this a great place for a scuba diving trip.
