Luxury Travel on a budget
Oct. 09 - Luxury Travel on a budget
The whole idea of luxury travel gives the impression that money is no object and people are willing to pay whatever it takes to ensure absolutely luxury whilst travelling. This is indeed true for some travellers but exclusively to this end of the market. Travelers are now becoming more sophisticated in their travel plans now that it is so easy to check prices
online.
Even executives who have little time to arrange their own travel or family holidays, now realise that for the sake of 10 minutes on the Internet, it is possible to save hundred and sometimes thousands on the cost of the trip. Online bookings have really transformed the whole travel industry and travel companies are able to offer discounts for direct bookings. The travel companies are able to cut out several costs including the cost of the:
- Retail premises
- Printed materials and literature
- Manpower manning a shop or outlet facility
The 2009 recession has also made many people, including those in the high-end market, to consider outgoing costs and the chance to book holiday apartments online for example has been one big market chance with the Internet. The idea of booking holiday apartments (vacation apartments) was not so common 5 years ago. Now there has been a huge rise in families booking luxury apartments for short-term stays. More space and cheaper rates yet still staying very centrally locally has meant this type of sector has increased.
If you are a luxury and high-end traveler, a few minutes really might be worth your time.
