What is a BOUTIQUE HOTEL?
The first idea thinking of Boutique is often shop. When thinking about the word Hotel we think of, well, a hotel. So what is a Boutique Hotel?
Various names are associated with Boutique Hotels and these do have included and do 
include:
- Unusual Hotel
- Guesthouse
- Bed and Breakfast
- Expensive
- Luxury
- Unusual
- Unique
- Hotel
- Art Deco
- Quirky
A 'Boutique Hotel' is in fact many of the above. If I were to define this fairly new American concept, I would say it is
"...a luxury and stylish type of hotel which is often privately owned and offers a unique, stylish and interesting interior".
The whole concept of Boutique Hotels is that the stay is an original one and it takes one away from the hotel chain phenomena. Many of the Boutique style hotels are very well designed and the price often tends to be on the higher end market - and one which is very suitable to the needs of the Luxury Traveler.
